But the dear leader did manage to find time to send out his people to Trayvon Martin a thug, Michael Brown a attempted murderer and Freddie Gray a criminal.

As the funerals for the servicemen killed in the Chattanooga terrorist shooting begin, the president has made it clear that he has no plan to alter his schedule to be there. One of the men running to replace him in the White House, however, has dropped his campaign plans to attend one of the funerals.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a 2016 Republican front-runner, announced he would be canceling his campaign events for Saturday to attend the funeral of Marine Sgt. Carson Holmquist, one of the five men killed in last week’s attacks.

Sgt. Holmquist was a native of St. Croix Falls, Wisc., who joined the military in 2009 after graduating from Grantsburg High School. He’d been deployed in both Afghanistan and Japan, and had been awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal, an Afghanistan Campaign Medal, a Global War of Terrorism Service Medal and two Sea Service Deployment ribbons.

Holmquist left behind his wife Jasmine and son Wyatt Allen.

This is the sort of man America should drop everything to honor, and Gov. Walker has. Walker was supposed to be campaigning in New Hampshire and North Carolina (both important primary states) on Sunday, but he cancelled those plans to attend Holmquist’s funeral.
