Who has to scrape their windshield in the morning to get the ice off of it?

We have had to scrape the ice off of our windshield for about a week now. Since our car is outside the garage, the one my sister and I drive to school in, it usually has ice on the windshield in the morning; therefore, we have to scrape the ice off. You may use a defroster if your car has one, but we do not want to waste gas, and I do not trust the car being outside for 5 minutes without anyone inside it just to have it defrosting the windshield.

LOL. I haven't had to defrost lately, but usually I do. I just turn it on, and let the motor run--no problem if you live where I do.

One time I poured hot water on my windshield to get the ice of and the whole thing cracked!

What an idiotic thing to do..

I live in Florida, a place where ice on windshields is unheard of. On the rare occasion, you might see some frost if it gets cold enough but that doesn't happen all that often.

I live in Australia, a place where ice on windshields is unheard of. On the rare occasion, you might see some little icy beads on the goddamn grass, but that only happens in the dead of winter.
