What are your thoughts on security cameras being everywhere you go? Do you think we are being recorded way too much or not enough? Are they necessary or not?

I have no problem with them. I walk past a thousand people a day, I don't really care if one more behind a camera sees me.

How did the civilized world ever survive for thousands of years without security cameras?
...Just fine.

Depends on who you ask:

As long as you follow the rules cameras can't harm you :P

They help solve some crimes although I would say money would be better spent actually protecting the people like having more police etc.

Well if you look at in terms of money, security cameras are a one time investment and a police officer is an on-going investment.
