What are some examples of boundaries that you set in a friendship, relationship, and/or work environment? How do you establish them?

Personally, I establish these boundaries by following through on what I say and proving my character - being supportive and honest, showing up, and proving my willingness to grow. I feel like that way, people are more accepting of my boundaries because they are at least somewhat confident in my ability to respect theirs.

My main boundaries are:

- Don't let things fester to the point where you become angry with me - talk it out respectfully and let me know if I overstepped.
- Don't borrow from me and then do a disappearing act or pretend I forgot about it... now you just stole from me bro. At least be like "hey i'm working on paying you back" once in a while, really any type of communication on it.
- Respect me and my time, and that I'm not gonna be hanging around my phone to answer you (I won't harass you to respond either).
- Don't involve me in drama unless you truly need the backup or are just venting...
- Don't be racist, homophobic, etc - I will find out and I will drop you so quick
- This one should be self-explanatory but sadly it's not... don't tell others what I have confided in you about.
