Recent policy changes in Italy require all fireworks shows to be under 90 seconds in length so this is how renegade firework artists are getting around the law.

Whenever authorities come up with some new law, some new restriction, someone always finds a loophole in it and makes sure to exploit it, if for no other reason, then just for the sake of it, just to give a proverbial middle finger to the authorities. Viva la revolución!
