Not in our house, But when I go into someone elses I always take my shoes off.



Our house has wooden floors so isn't a big issue

Our kitchen is tiled so we also have rugs in there. Only time I'll wear my shoes inside is if I have new shoes on, and if I do, I'll wipe them off on an outside rug.

It has become an automatic reaction for me. I feel disrespecful if I don't,

I normally ask for my friends to do the same if they enter my apartment.

We don't really mind, Our carpet is already pretty dirty from the last people who lived here. (We live in a duplex) But when I walk into someone else's house, I do.
