Do you prefer to shop online or go to the town shops ?

I prefer to shop at stores etc - I don't trust online transactions.

I also prefer to see what I'm getting before I hand my money over.

I do both. Certain items are much cheaper to order online. For example, I buy all my pet supplies and food online in bulk. It costs my half the amount as the Pet Smart store here is way too expensive.

Shopping online is beneficial and intelligent, everything's cheaper and a majority of time the products are in credible condition, and this includes talking about games. I happily use EBAY and only twice have I ordered a game that didn't work, and one of the games didn't work because I needed a Japanese PS2, so it actually did work. That guy I sent it back to never did send me the twenty bucks back either.

I just have this unpenatrable distrust of things like Paypal

and giving my card details online.

I also think it's easier to take stuff back to a shop than it is

to send it by parcel post or whatever when you've bought

it online.

Incidently, I bought a camera last year from a shop and

it was actually 'cheaper' than online !

I prefer to shop online. It's cheaper for starters!! Chatsie, I think you got lucky with that camera!

Also, most of my online shopping is for CDs and, with my musical tastes, I just can't get what I want in normal stores. Especially now that pretty much all of the independent record shops have died out. Places like HMV just don't cater for me.

I've used PayPal, eBay, Play.com, Amazon and a number of other online retailers and services for years without a problem. On the extremely rare occasion where something goes wrong, I've always found these places are more than happy to send a replacement item or give a refund.

Also, I hate having to fight my way through crowds of people on the high street, so internet shopping is perfect for me in that respect!

I will occasionally shop online. Especially if there's a certain something like say a cd or shirt or movie or some such I can't really find in local stores.

Well no I like to try things on and ask the changing room assistant 'does my ass look big in this?'

I used to do some online shopping but I stopped doing it years ago. I remember I had to do online shopping on the behalf of my mum as she was too lazy to go to the shops one day.

I mostly shop in stores. However I do get quite alot of stuff off the internet.

Shopping online is awesome, but for certain items I do like to go the store to get them, but I'd have to say about 85% of the time I am online shopping which by the way I am currently doing as well...

[font=lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif]just to check things,

[font=lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif]never to buy,

[font=lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif]don't trust sites with my personal info.

I like to shop online. It is much easier, less time consuming, and the items are delivered right to my door.

The shoes on my feet and hoody sweatshirt I am wearing right now I bought online.

I almost always shop online exclusively for electronics. I can always snag a better deal. But if I'm making a larger purchase, I always look at Red Flag Deals, or similar sites to see what they have for deals. It just makes sense to buy things online. For example, I bought an extra battery for my cell. $3.50 off eBay, yet stores want up to $70 for them. Things like that absolutely online!

Electronics are cheaper. I could have got my new phone $20 cheaper if I bought it through their website but I didn't want to wait for a package. Lol
