Should zoos be banned?

Should zoos be banned? Why or why not?

I don't think they should be banned, they teach kids about many different exotic animals and is a great education tool. Plus the animals are well taken care of by professionals. In some cases, zoos will help repopulate some endangered species too, so over all I'd say they're very beneficial.

I agree. There are good zoos. I am in liberal California and the people here wouldn't tolerate depressed animals in horrid conditions. Every time I go to a local zoo, they seem happy and have plenty of room in their respective enclosures.

I am against places like Joe Exotic (Tiger King) ran. Those poor tigers were mistreated.

I personally think they should be banned. A wildlife reserve is one thing but I don't like animals being in small enclosures.

I think they should expand on zoos and make it where they breed and take care of endangered species of animals that are on the brink of extinction.

Not banned per se, but rather expanded into reservations for animals to live at. If they can't have true freedom, at least give them an illusion of freedom.
