Side effect or bad reaction

Have you ever had a side effect or bad reaction after taking medication? If so, what happened?

I had whiplash at Christmas when I was 18 and was told no alcohol whilst on the pain killers (no idea what they were) well I was 18 and living on my own with a crate of beer under my bed and no money to go out so a few beers later and I was tripping very badly, worst night of my life lol very funny looking back now not so much at the time.

I had tendon repair surgery on my ankle. I was in a below the knee cast. The doctor gave me medicine (Naprosyn) for the inflammation. I was supposed to take 2 pills but not liking to take medicine, I only took one. About 20 minutes later, I was having a hard time swallowing and my throat felt like it was closing up. I had no choice but to call 911 as I couldn't drive. They gave me a shot of something and it made feel better almost immediately. They had said if I had taken 2, that would have been a whole other ball game.

When I broke my ankle, I was on vicodin for it. I took the recommended dosage my doctor prescribed and I believe it was the very first day I woke up with a rebound headache. I guess I had taken too much for my smaller frame, and let me tell you that was the worst headache I've had in my entire life. I had to take more vicodin to make it go away, but only about half the dosage I was taking from my prescription. Fortunately, after a night's rest and with half the dosage, the headache went away and my head no longer felt like it was going to split open and explode like a volcano.
