Being single rocks! I can do whatever I want, spend my money however I want too. I've chosen to be single, celibate and childfree for life because that's what I want from it personally. I've been around my baby cousins and I myself just really can't stand them. And from my PERSONAL experience with relationships, dating is boring, romance is overrated and some partners (male or female) can be really jealous, obsessive and possessive of you. With my 1st ex, I couldn't even talk to any other guy than him so yeah.

Temporarily I think single life is great. It's not for everyone. I chose not to go that route. Being freshly divorced, I felt it was very depressing after awhile. I saw other couples happy in public and it just reminded me of something I had wanted.
Whenever you are in a difficult relationship, it makes it hard for you to appreciate relationship when you must have ended that bad relationship. It is why a lot of people prefer being single now because they don't want to deal with the whole nonsense that comes with relationship.
I have been single for so many years now. For the record, I am not looking for or searching for someone. I am not closing my door, and it will come at the right time and place. If she did not come, I could still embrace being single forever.
