A Japanese firm has launched a smartwatch with a breathalyser and sobriety game to help the wearer decide whether or not they are drunk.

Tokyoflash's Kisai Intoxicated watch has a built-in breathalyser which the wearer can blow in after removing the watch dial.

The watch's display shows three levels of drunkenness. Green for sober, amber for a blood alcohol level up to .06% and red for over that level.

The stainless steel watch with rechargeable battery also features a sobriety game in which the wearer has to press a button to align a moving column with the centre of the screen.

However, the maker's stress that the wearer should not rely entirely on the watch to decide whether they are safe to drive.

The manual advises: "This watch is designed for entertainment only. The retailer does not warrant that the results obtained from this breathalyser will be completely accurate or reliable and accept no liability for consequences arising from its use."

What if you're too drunk to remove the watch dial?

What do you think of this watch?

I think if you have to take a breathalyzer test to check if you're too drunk or not, you shouldn't be driving to begin with.
