Ever been? I havent but ive wanted to try it.

Gotta love Canada. I go many times every year! It is so fun!

There's places in the Rockies you can go year round.

Yes, I have been snowboarding, once...

The instructor didn't teach me enough and I ended up falling and dislocating

my shoulder.

So if and when you go, get proper instruction and go with lots of friends, because

I was completely alone when I fell and I laid in the snow waiting for help for 5 minutes or so and it was agonizing for me because I was in so much pain.

I want to go again, but I want someone I trust to teach me and give me proper instruction.

For the time being, I'm a skier =]

^what she said. I went to ski and snowboarding once, but the instructor didn't teach me enough I ended falling on my ass numerous times ... then I started to hate those sports altogether.
