Social Media VS Forums

I much prefer forums but “most” people seem to think they are “dead and gone”. Buuuuut I will fight tooth and nail to keep forums alive.

They might actually be rebounding.. I have seen a lot of people lament the limited structure of SM and chats.. and then wonder if there is an alternative..

It is the reason I started forums for the businesses I am currently involved with, and people do prefer that to SM.. so between those that have left SM and those that are leaving paid software for ones like MyBB, I'd say that forums are making a comeback.. not that they ever really left..

Honestly, I think the people that claim that forums are dying are the same ones that weren’t exactly around when forums were flourishing and booming years ago. They just want something to talk about, that’s all.

For me, I think forums are doing well and will continue to rise above all.

Definitely forums - although, I feel like asking this question on a forum is a bit like going to a church and asking people whether they believe God exists!

I am --and forever will be-- a forum nut.

Conversations are usually much pleasant, you actually get to return to old ones, people are generally much friendly, you don't have to give away much more than your location... And my death threats don't fly on those. Ok, maybe not that last part XD
