Someone you hated who died?

Has anyone you personally knew & hated died? How did you react?

Someone I hated at school has passed.
I bumped into him on the street on say the 28th of Feb 2011 and he was giving me lip and just generally pissing me off. Then a couple of days later he was speeding and drove into a tree.
I hate to say it, but my reaction was kinda 'Meh.'

I feel sorry for those with unresolved hate.

That can come back and eat at you like a disease.

I would recommend seeking peace and closure. But as the other person has moved on, that may be rather difficult as you are still in this world.

Perhaps prayer to the One who can give peace?

I agree that unresolved hate is destructive and not worth hanging on to no matter what that person did to warrant it. I don't hate anyone anymore as hate is just a waste of time and energy that I rather not use on such a thing as hate.

There are people that I have hated throughout my life but not anymore. Hate is not worth anything so it's definitely not worth my time. They're not in my life anymore and if I'd ever see them again I'd be normal. But nope, nobody I know has died yet except family.

Nope! No one that I hated has died.
And even if they did die I would still feel remorse for that person. No one really deserves to die even if they are a creep.

I don't hate many people. I just put people on my Facebook block list before I do end up hating them.

I suppose I do hate that one teacher who yelled at me in front of the class because I kept slipping class. He hated me anyway before that though.

There was a guy who used to live in my town, he was a psychotic drunkard and we were on the verge of banning him from the store (he peed on the floor once). His dad had asked us to not sell him alcohol, so one day he came in trying to buy alcohol. I refused as I was asked to, He got pushy, so I banned him from the store and threw him out, which meant no store in town would allow him in.

A week later he hung himself.

I have some people who has done something against me IRL, but none of them has died as of now. I'd feel remorse for some though if I ever remembered the good moments I enjoyed with them.

Now that I think of it I wouldn't mind if this guy managed to rot in jail.
