Oh where to begin in the old saga and tales of our beloved and hated Sony going after people over pointless and futile acts when there quoted talented engineers can't even prevent exploits appearing in and used in there own gaming console's and devices.

Now Sony have been for what of a better word discouraged by Geo's impeding exploits he found amongst Sony's latest console to date the PS3(Playstation 3) and so they took legal action against him forcing company's such as Paypal to reveal donations made to Geo's paypal account and by who donated money to him as well as making Youtube hand over the I.P addresses of users who have watched GeoHots video's and they succeeded in doing this by gaining permission by an obscure judicial system at best.

The court case finally ended recently with Geohotz consenting to a permanent injunction and as of now these details have not been disclosed as to the agreement that Sony purposed and Geo agreed too but these in some case unfair actions made on Sony's part has angered a well known group called Anonymous as they have invaded not only Geo's privacy but the privacy of possible millions of other people across the world.

Anonymous has designated that people protest against Sony on April the 16th at there local Sony store and Anonymous said the following.

We encourage anyone who is able to come to a nearby Sony Store to support the cause, even if you are not usually involved with Anonymous. This is not just about Anonymous - this is about your rights.

If you wish to attend, be sure to check on your local laws and regulations regarding hiding your face during protests and, if allowed, cover your face, whether it is the usual Guy Fawkes masks or some other form of facial covering. Let us show Sony that all information is free and that we own the things we buy, now and forever.

Needless to say the Anonymous group and many others are not happy with the actions Sony undertook in this court case between them and GeoHotz.
