My mom always used to have a spider plant so I bought one the other day. I think they are pretty cool looking.

Ever had one of these in your house?

The Spider Plant, or Chlorophytum comosum, is possibly the most popular house plant. They are good at purifying the air in your home and they are very easy to maintain. The purpose of this instructable is to teach you how to make more spider plants from your starter plant.

I love these plants and have two huge ones. I have even given some of the starter plants as gifts.

I might take the babies off and make some other plants too. Good gift idea.

Don't know if you have a $1 store in your area. I do and they had the cutest little pots that I put the babies in for the gifts.

I imagined it would look like something else lol... oh well. They look nice I guess

Those look pretty nice! Must be difficult to maintain though.

Oh. Whoops!

Guess you people think that pouring some water in a pot once or twice a week is too much work.

Why can't they do it themselves?

Very nice looking ivy plant. I love ivy plants as they too are easy to care for. The only thing to remember with an ivy plant is that it likes to wrap itself around things so you need to place it where it can do that. I have mine on a trellis so it can grow upwards on that. Some ivy placed near a window can actually wrap itself all over the curtain rods.

Did you use 'ivy' that much on purpose, Jazzy?

I think it is ivy. I went in the grocery store because I needed to get some cash back. They had a plant display at the front so I just grabbed one and bought it so I could get some cash off my debit card.

If I remember correctly, it said Ivy on the sign.
