Are you someone who enjoys spoiling your loved ones? If so, in what ways do you tend to spoil your loved ones. If you don't spoil your loved ones, what are your thoughts on spoiling the ones we hold dear to us?

For me I LOVE spoiling loved ones and those who make a positive impact in my life. I am 100% there for them and I love them spoil them with gift baskets on their birthdays (I used to run a gift basket business). I'll also set up a photoshoot for friends who enjoy those kinds of activities to help boost their confidence or feel good about themselves. When I didn't have much money to spend I would make a cute picnic with foods and snacks that they enjoy. I find sometimes it's the small things that make a difference. Remembering their favourite chocolate bar, or colour so you can make a gift basket with those colours.. etc.

I believe it's important to show your loved ones that you care and that you appreciate them. I want my friends to feel good about themselves and to be reminded that they are loved and thought of.

Just today I went out and got a spa package (1/2 massage and a medi pedi) for my neighbour because she has been going through a lot lately. To explain a bit more, I usually bring her 2 daughters (one in grade 2 and one in grade 3) to school and pick them up 3 days a week and watch them until about 430-5 when their parents get home from work. I also have the kids over sometimes to do some baking and arts as they love that and to give my neighbours a bit of a break because they do have a busy lifestyle. The dad does shift work and the mom has a regular 9-5 typ job. The girls are in a few different dance classes and stay active so it can get pretty exhausting for the parents at times. The dad does struggle with mental health and in October he will be going to treatment for a few weeks leaving the mom to basically take care of everything. Of course, I'm going to help her out as much as I can and as much as she would like that I help but I also feel like she could use a spa day where it's all about her and how she feels rather than focus on the girls, her husband and other things going on in life.

Do you ever do such things for your loved ones? Would you ever do such things for loved ones??

I will admit, right now money isn't too tight and I am able to do such things for the ones I love. But if money was more tight and I was unable to pay for spa packages or flowers or anything like that I would resort to drawing them their favourite animal or having a desserts & wine night with them.

I LIVE for my nephews and nieces... if I ever have a spare dollar, it goes to them. I love burying them on treats and taking them places. I also enjoy letting them play with all my stuff, and calling them to catch up when they aren't around. I tend to do vast amounts of pretend wrestling and pretend bullying with them (spoiler: they are both excuses for them to take me to a little area they use as a "jail for villains"). I'm probably overdoing it a little, but they are CHILDREN... life will punch them soon enough, but I will make their childhoods as fun-filled and memorable as possible when I can.

Besides, my favorite redhead cousin just turned 15, so we don't really play anymore.

That sure rings a 'wonderful!' bell with me. When I was about 8 through 12 my 4-years-older twin uncles were "assigned" to entertain & watch out for my safety all of summer school vacation.
They spoiled me rotten & exposed me to such off-the-wall things as mud ball fights, guinea pigs, & attempting to roll & smoke muscadine vines & leaves over in the vacant lot next to their house.

Sounds like you had FUNCLES ;D

One of my favorite things to do is re-enact this scene from Ed, Edd n Eddy. They love it, specially when I pretend to lock the door and start dancing XD

They'll remember things like that all of their lives! ;)

I do spoil my loved ones every now and then, but there aren’t many I’d truly consider in that category.
Everyone’s an adult, and being the youngest in my family means I’ve always been the one getting spoiled or looked after the most

For my son, I may not buy him a lot, but I love cooking his favourite meals or doing little things for him. My relatives are overseas, so I don’t get to do much for them, even if I want to, just those small gestures that show I care.
