Stabbing burglars to be legal in England

Stabbing burglars with a knife or doing some other form of self-defence against them is to be made legal in England, as this source tells. I approve of this idea because burlgars get what they deserve for breaking into houses and robbing off people. What's your stance on this?

We all know what we mean when we say a person has an absolute right to defend themselves and their home and reasonable force.

I have no idea what they mean. What do they consider reasonable force?

Here you can legally kill people that break into your home as long as you know you are in real danger. I used to work with a guy who shot and killed a guy who broke into his house (there was more than one though, they were planning a home invasion.. The other ones ran off when they saw what happened to their friend.



However he had to move because the person he killed was in a gang and the gang was doing drive by's on his house and throwing stuff through his windows & whatnot. Luckily him and his wife didnt get hurt or killed but they probably did get out just in time.
