Stand Up To Cancer

I didn't see a thread based on this, so I thought I would bring it up. How many of you watched the event last night? It was on 17 of the major networks, including NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox. It was a one hour commercial-free event and it featured many people such as Sally Field, Toby Mcguire (I know I spelled his name wrong), Rob Lowe, Delta Goodrem and Leona Lewis. The music was great as well.



And if you did watch it, did you donate? And is there a certain person in your life that died or is battling cancer that compelled you to donate?

Man, sound spretty good. I wish I kne wabout it - surely they'd accept Aussie donations if they had Delta Goodrem there.

Was it an American thing? I haven't seen Delta Goodrem sing for a long time.

I watched the last 10 Chilean miners being pulled from their cave last night via DrL's fantastic web stream. I didn't get to bed until 3am but it was an incredible piece to watch; history in the making.
