Right sorry to bring this back up. But I got a text from Neil about 2 hours ago saying there is a banbd meeting on sunday at 7. to which i replied a practise or a meet up and chat.... he then replied straight away with a chat and to 'sort stuff out' I then replied with 'sort what out exactly' he has not replied at all!
I cant help but feeling like I am being picked on here!
I know this meeting can't be good if he's not even bothering replying!

Revy, no matter what happens, we're here for you and you don't need to worry about the band. If you're a talented artist who loves to play, then that's what you need to be doing. If you back-down, then you're just letting him walk over you. If you're confident you love what you do and love to play, then you need to go to that meeting without any doubt. Keep that chin up high and you go in there and meet with them as if you're the best bass player, and no matter what happens, it's either their gain or loss. Stay strong and know you're an artist, and if that's what you want to do, no one, not Neil, not anyone can take that away from you. Go in there, be yourself, and regardless of what they think, you should still know your the talented artist they have or lost. Let us know how it goes, and remember you're in control.

Right,. Last nights meeting was aweful.. Basicly got told I have 2 weeks to buck my ideas up I was completely ganged up on by the group, The fact that I used notes for some songs on stage was apparently the only issue.
I told them, right well I wont use them at all from now on. Proved them all wrong today aswell.... Get to that in a bit.
Nothing was said to the guitarist who also uses notes on stage.
Neil said was he wanted and then left it at that. Jo - Our other singer.. Didn't talk or even look at me the remainder of the night. So I merely asked her if there was anything else that was bothering her.... She went balistic! Slammed her fists on the table, Got right in my face and shouted the pub down for half an hour... We then went outside and where she continued to shout at me... Finally I asked what exactly is her problem and she went back to the issue of using notes on stage... So a 2 hour shouting match actually got us no-where.
Then they just walked off and left me at the pub to make my own way home :/
Anyway today was band practise... I said sorry to Jo for pissing her off, I received no apology from her, She also didnt talk to me much at practise :/
Anyhow the best bit is!! I used NO notes, even for the brand new songs.. And they did!!!
I couldn't believe it.. What a load of hyprcrites!

I think Jo wants me out but Neil and Dan don't, therefore if I quit, she has won. Plus.. I don't want to
I am waiting for a phone call from a bass tutor. I want to learn more techniques and start looking for something else. Even if I stay with dog days or not I still will have something to fall back on.
