The New York Yankees have confirmed that owner George Steinbrenner is dead, at the age of 80 from a massive heart attack.

At least he had a long fulfilling life. To be honest, I thought George Steinbrenner was just a character on Seinfeld. Shows how much I am in to sports. lol.



RIP Steinbrenner.

No sir.... he was very real. Just ask Billy Martin!



Anyway, Mr Steinbrenner, more than any other individual that I can think of, changed professional sports into the Business it is now.



As to whether that is good or bad, I am not in a position to judge.
