Have you ever in your life been a victim of stereotyping? Why?

I don't know all about that, maybe people assumed that, because I talk about superheroes at school that I automatically must be nerdy. However, that doesn't bother me because it's true.

Well that happened to me while visiting Germany,I run into a group of Nazi skinheads.
They actually where friendly towards me......just because how I look.
Talk about being stereotyped.

Of course. I'm a metalhead. That must mean I'm a racist that beats up everyone not white, drink 3 bottles of liquor a day and do all the drugs my system can take. >_>

OR they think I'm an uber-nerd that listens to fantasy metal about dragons and elves and stuff.

Yeah, ppl have weird ideas about metal...

My dad was in the Air Force and we got transferred from base to base all over the country. Due to that, we lived in base housing. The base housing was a mobile home or trailer as they are often called. I was stereotyped as trailer trash. To this day, you will still hear people called that who live in mobile home/trailer parks by ignorant and nasty people.
