Didn’t they just add him on this season? Didn’t really have an attachment to him. Also he was dumb… He just runs back into the upside down to get attacked by those bat things and doesn’t accomplish anything worth while? That other kid was calling him a hero for that? Lol

He literally had zero reasons to go back in. He cut the rope at the portal because he knew he was just going to run in there and die. Nothing he could have done in there at that time could have helped anyone. If he really wanted to help his friends he should have stayed with Dustin and helped him out!
