Street Teams

Have you ever been a part of a Street Team? A Street Team is basically a group of people that go out and Promote an Artist, a group of Artists, or a Label.

Nope. How does that work?

Basically wearing that artist or what have you's shirt or passing out their merchandise. And doing word of mouth promo.

Do you get paid?

To be honest, I am not sure. I know a few people I can ask though.

Street Teams are usually voluntry. I am part of the Norther Street Team and a few years back I joined the Betrayer street team (Canadian metal band)



I am also part of the Sonata Arctica fan club and promote them like crazy. But i'm not sure if they have a street team.



The Norther street team, I get sent flyers and stickers from the band to give out at gigs, festivals, metal events etc.
