Stupid Advice

So I took my daughter swimming at the gym. She accidentally swallowed some water when she was under, came up and was coughing it out.

Some guy walking by said Don't let your kid swallow the pool water, its not good for them.



I said I know and had a face like this

I dont know but that comment really erk'ed my nerves. Moron.

I know what you mean. My son's a klutz and is always dropping things. Whenever I hear a crash I shout Be careful! Except it's a bit late by then! Stupid me!

Tbh I just think it's a natural reaction. I always ask if he's alright afterwards. It's just that my first instinct is to yell Be careful! There's nothing like bolting the stable door once your horse has bolted!
