Does your country have a stupid law that you would like to be removed? Do you know if that particular law is enforced?

Property tax needs to be abolished. You shouldn't have to continue paying on something you own.

Can’t think of any in the UK atm. Doesn’t the states have one where the police can take your property/money without a valid reason? And then the burden to prove your innocence is in you?

Doesn't that go to local upkeep and keeping schools funded? (at least it should...)
You don't feel like it's paying the government rent? I just don't like the idea of owning something that you paid a lot of money for (house, car, boat, etc) and have to pay a yearly fine for those things based off of their value.

They already withhold state and federal tax from your paychecks.

Cannabis is still illegal, It’s in the same level as alcohol so it’s never made sense to me.

I’ve never heard of that one before. It’s either a thing in certain states or an urban legend. I know arrest quotas are another urban legend.

How hard it is for new drivers to get fully licensed in Canada.

Marijuana laws for adults are totally dumb. In fact, many US states have removed them and in others they are weakly enforced. Anyway, I don't see any justification for them, unless driving a vehicle is involved (among a few other things).

I will admit that I had to Google this as I know we have stupid laws but was not sure exactly what they were.

I was shocked to see this one though and did not know that was a law at all and seems pretty stupid.

It is illegal to stop and collect an animal you have hit with your car, however the person behind you can.

I heard that they are trying to implement House Bill 4438, the No Helmet Bill. In my view, it is a perfectly strange law. Their main reason is to catch criminals easily for not wearing helmets.
