Super Bowl XLVI will be played on February 5, 2012, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Are you going to be watching? Any party plans?

I'll be watching...bitterly.

My team was this close to making it.

The Superbowl is a big thing in my family, but we don't usually go all out and throw those huge parties.

The local pub here has a big screen TV and holds a Super Bowl party. Lots of people go and there's tons of food to eat. If I'm off, I will be stopping by to join in the fun!

I spent years as a sportswriter, I've been in the press box for Big Ten games, NASCAR races, and minor league baseball games, and sat on the sidelines for one of the largest high school basketball tournaments on the East Coast.

I've met Dale Earnhardt Sr, listened to Bobby Knight say something offensively stupid, and took a picture of Danica Patrick last year.

I can call play by play for a soccer game and know the rules of baseball better than some refs.

OK?

I have not watched an NFL regular season or playoff game for the 2011-2012 season, and I have no intention of starting now.

Those millionaire prima donna crybabies who showboat and strut after making a catch that they were supposed to make or act like it was everybody else's fault when they dropped it will just have to get along without me.

And the same goes for the NBA.

MLB remains to be seen, but it doesn't look promising.

lol that's if Giants will play well. They've been on and off.

If anyone has been on and off it's the Patriots. NOT the team they were four years ago, and Giants beat them then anyway

That's true I think Giants is a better team, but Patriots of course have the better qb in Tom Brady. I think Giants can win too if they play like they've been playing. It was a close call against the 49ers.

Regardless, today is Superbowl day! Gonna make some bets in the market place >

Oh yeah... I just posted about this:

[font=tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif]I was invited to a super bowl party up at my uncles house. My uncle here in town was supposed to give me a ride up there because he was going too. He decided that he didnt want to go so Im not going because I cant afford to drive up there myself. My kid just got picked up too.. Thought I was going to have a boring day at home all alone but then my lady friend decided to cancel her super bowl party plans and come spend the day with me instead.

I personally like Brady. He’s an amazing quarterback I just think they need to surround him with better players to complete those passes. The Patriots made a lot of costly mistakes and incompletes.

What Gisele Bundchen pretty much said

That last hail mary would've been a complete pass and a touchdown if it weren't for the incompetent players that surround him.
