Super Smash Bros Wii U / 3DS

Anybody interested in picking up the new Super Smash Bros game?

It looks incredibly snazzy and I'm loving some of the newcomers, mainly:

ROSALINA (and Luma)
and Wii Fit Trainer

I'm not sure if I'll pick it up right after release, or which console I'll get it for. I'm really tempted to buy it for both but there hasn't been any announcement to say that is a worthwhile idea. I guess we'll wait and see.

I have the one for wii but I only have the standard controller with the nunchuck and the controlls of the game aren't very user friendly and that makes the whole game not that much fun.

It works for the original Wii, but not the Wii U.

Later versions of the Wii didn't have the Gamecube ports (I think 2010 onwards?), so best to check. Most people consider it the best controller for playing games like Brawl and Mario Kart (and imo, best controller ever made).

Mine doesn't have any ports and it doesn't play DVD's!
Its a newer old wii, if that makes sense. :s

Seems like the older old wii's were made with better options.

Wiis aren't able to play DVDs unless modded anyway.

You must have one of the later Wiis without Gamecube support. Hmm, in that case you can look at getting a Wii Classic Controller.

yeah I don't think it can play gamecube games either.
