i'm eating the most luscious cantaloupe swimming in strawberry yogurt with local bee pollen and nutritional yeast mixed in right now as i type this. i haven't had a melon with this kind of flavor in many years. they're always underipe and don't have that distinctive lingering melon after taste this beauty has.

it's one of those live raw food dishes i was talking about in my eat me raw post that has so much good nutrients that your body craves, that you can feel yourself absorbing it into your circulatory system from your lips and tongue all the way to your stomach. eat a mostly living and uncooked diet, your turds will have an almost pleasant aroma and your farts will usually have a barely detectable odor, but never so obnoxiously rancid as somebody who is fermenting big piles of cooked meat and starchy grains in their intestines.

I love cantaloupe. I had one last week that I bought at the Farmers Market. It was absolutely delicious!

i do too, but i never see them picked ripe enough to be any good and they're usually too expensive as well. this one was sitting at the little grocery stinking of melon flavor and i had to buy it. i'm going to go down there in a little while and see if there are any more.

Sounds good. I like cantaloupe too
it was. i cut up a banana and added some cinammon to the bee pollen and yeast on the second half and it was even better. if i wasn't dieting, i'd have put some honey and chocolate bits in there too and probably a few more kinds of fruit.

the secret to buying melons is if you can't smell it when you stick your nose to where it was broken from the vine, you're not going to taste it either.
