Do you take stuff people say personally? Like if someone posted a general opinion about something and you storm in to the thread all insulted. As if the post was intended to directly insult you only?

Nope, not myself.

Ive had people follow me around on other forums super analyzing everything I say to find a hidden insult that doesn't exist and lash out at me for it.

This is the internet, Words typed on a forums should not be taken to heart to be fair. But i dont.

Not unless the post was intended to directly insult me by mentioning my user name.

To use a quote I've often heard a few times over the years. 'Da Intahnets is serious business'

i have when its been directly aimed at me personally or at my country when the poster was so blatently insulting (im very patriotic

If it's something seriously wrong, then I do get a bit angry. I remember on another forum there was a guy who was continually posting in debates with archaic viewpoints that were entirely wrong, and he even claimed rape victims deserved to be raped. Stuff like that does get to me, so I do get angry.

I usually don't, unless I'm in a very bad mood and feel like typing some of it away.

Btw, I feel like I'm the inspiration of this thread. XD

Unless someone is directly quoting a post and/or using my username to make an insult/threat/etc then I don't take it to heart. When they do, I don't pretend it never happened, but I'm not going to get all offended over something that someone hundreds or thousands of miles away said trying to be tough sitting behind a computer screen.
