Why are people (at work especially) all nice to your face then as soon as you leave the room they start gossiping and telling others what they think they know about you?

What is the point of it?

Mind your own f**king business & worry / talk about yourself.



Whatever happened to If you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all.

Why are people (at work especially) all nice to your face then as soon as you leave the room they start gossiping and telling others what they think they know about you?

They are jealous, two-faced spineless cowards, who don't have the nerve to say things to your face.

What is the point of it?

People who do this are attention seekers. They think by doing this it makes them popular amoungst their peers. They often lead very dull lives and to spice up their dull lives, they gossip about others.

I never understood it either, the way I see it is that if you don't like me at least have the nerve to tell me to my face and not behind my back.. When I used to work at McDonalds there was ALWAYS that kind of drama going on. However I just ignored it and like Jazzy said they are jealous and cowards, don't waste your time on them, you are way better than that. Who are they to judge you and most of all how can they judge you if they don't even know you? I mean sure they might know you from work or what ever, but they REALLY know you?



Also don't let people tell you who you are, instead show them who you are. Be proud of who you are, so what if they don't like you and so what if they talk shit behind your back, honestly do you think they look good when they do that? When they talk about everyone behind their back? That shows that they are both unconfident with themselves because they need to put others down to make themselves feel better and cowardly cause they can't say it to your face.



I don't know you but I'm sure you're a great person, don't let peoples rude comments or rude behaviours bring you down, instead walk talk and be proud of who you are because they don't know the true you, and they don't see who you really are so they are mostly just talking to try to make themselves feel better.



Another thing is, you might influence their life but don't let them influence yours, you're better than them, don't care what others think because this is your life and you are who you are, if they don't like it that's there problem not yours.
