Thoughts on tanning beds? My personal opinion on them is summed up in two words: Death Bed.

Great way to die of skin cancer. Accept your color for what it is.

I have really pale skin, but I have never felt the need to use a tanning bed. I think they should be banned or only people over the age of 25 should be able to use them. Over the past couple of years there has been an increase in teenagers using the tanning beds, I think it is bad that teenagers feel they have to try and change there apperance because it makes themselves feel better & more confident.

Why would I?

There's no need for a tan.

I've never used one and I never will, it's never appealed to me.

Things you do now can affect you later on in life.

Can't say it was hard

It is, however, a nice way of thinking. Live life to the fullest.

Well that's for sure, Nebulous! I'm just not of a mind to push the panic button over anything that might be harmful. I ride a motorcycle knowing full well it's a potentially lethal hobby. But I still love it and will do it at every chance. I think part of the problem with kids these days is they are conditioned by over-protective parents from an early age to be wary of everything. That does them no justice as part of life is risk. If you don't risk, what can you ever appreciate?

See where I'm going?

I know that but taking a risk at cancer just to have a shade darker skin seems silly. Ive never in my life heard a guy say If that girl's skin was a little bit darker, I'd date her

People in my family have passed away from skin cancer. Its a very painful and slow way to go... Having tan skin isn't worth that at all.
