I have found that by having team leaders on Bizdustry, it can contribute to creating a welcoming community for our members. Team Managers play a crucial role in moderating discussions, ensuring that rules are followed, and assisting new members. How many staff or moderators would a forum need before a Team Leader is warranted? Do you feel Team Leaders are a "requirement" to run a forum successfully in this day and age? Let us know below!

Sometime having too many staff teams and too many team leaders, admins, etc is just a bunch of unnecessary hierarchy. Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians.

If I had a very active board, I wouldn't mind having team leaders oversee their team to make sure they are doing everything accurately and practically. I think the activity of your board really dictates whether you should have team leaders or not or the team leader has an extreme specialty in the team they are leading.

Not sure I agree with that. I’ve seen super active and not so active boards have 0 team leaders, with number of mods and admins dependent on activity levels.

I’d like to add that having loads and loads of staff at the launch of a forum generally isn’t a good look, as that suggests that members have to be incensitised to participate.

Oh, team leaders definetely aren't a requirement, it's just a small extra addendum to a community where you can have someone to go to besides the administrators for advice, and to-dos, and to just look up to in general in times of need. Boards definitely thrive without them, it's just a matter of preference whether you have them or not.
