These two subjects, once pure science fiction, are now closer to becoming a reality. Scientists are working on a possible future where all of the things we use today for transportation (cars, airplanes, boats, etc) would be obsolete, a future where one could go (literally) from one place to another without having to travel across a physical boundary. This is called teleportation.

Another science fiction phenomena called time travel is also closer to becoming real. But this topic is far more controversial if you think about it. There are so many paradoxes as well as the common time-space continuum theory, how do you think this would work?

Let's discuss, shall we?

Even if time travel actually becomes possible, anything that has happened in the past has already happened. So if someone were to go back in time, it would have no effect on present time. Of course, I believe both are very far fetched for quite a while.

Some people believe that you could go back into the past and alter things, and others believe that if you went back into the past you couldn't touch anything, or say anything, and nobody in that past would see or hear you. It's basically just a memory being played right in front of you.
