At my old high school it took me hours to get there. I leave the house at five in the morning and arrive back home absolutely exhausted at around four or five at noon. I have always said if I had a transporter, I would like one in my house and one at school (Well now, work, as collage is right by my house) Why must you be so slow, technology.

Not to mention even if you survive, losing things. Like memory or body parts, yeah?

Also as much as I dislike thinking about it, even if that's all figured out and dandy, there is the economy to worry about, which means that would take even longer than the technology being figured out, or they wouldn't bring it out at all. I'm pretty sure if we can help it, we would use outside transportation as little as possible, which would mean a lot of job and money loss. For a good example, lots of book stores are closing down for all those wonderful technological reasons.
