The 15 hardest video games ever

The Dragon Master said:
Yeah... That's pretty much right.

Is there one in particular that you found to be the hardest? If so, which one was it?

Of the ones I've played, I disagree with the list. Most of them are games which are difficult, but not hard. Dark/Demon's Souls, Ninja Gaiden, STALKER, they're difficult to most players because gamers today are idiots. They have no concept of planning or strategy. Dark/Demon's Souls can both be completed without leveling up at all, and without taking damage at all. Ninja Gaiden requires knowledge of combo attacks and boss movesets, but aside from that it's all down to skill.

I know I've hardly hard of half these games. I know one game I played on the Super Nintendo back in the day I had some issues with. Secret of Evermore. It took me a looooooonnng while to get past this second boss. Which was some giant snake thing. So yeah, needless to say I wasn't happy when I played against that thing. And I highly recommend not swearing loudly and biting on a controller's cord.

I don't know if I agree with a lot of these games, things like Battle Toads and the first few Mega Man were difficult more because of the fact that they were unpolished and inefficient in areas which made it hard, instead of it requiring skill from the gamer.

Needs more Rayman... Sure it's easy at first, but then the terrain starts to shoot stuff at you while you're desperately trying to control a little rocket without walking off...
