What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to and why?

Best concert was probably ABGT200 w/ Above & Beyond, Cubicolor, Yotto, Grum, Andrew Bayer & Ilan Bluestone, and Jason Ross. Not too into these styles of music these days but we had a great laugh at it.

Best day festival was the first year Solas Festival ran, was just a pretty small thing of like 200, 300 people a local pirate station organized down near Wicklow, everyone was just on a lovely one and the weather was cracking, every stage had a different sound where people would be playing techno at one, or electro at the other, or 90s house classics at the third

Best musical event in general was a specific event at a night that used to be on called Energy Collective, the specific night was themed so that it would start off with current house & techno tunes and each DJ that came on after would take it a decade back, so it went 2010 > 2000 > 1990s, but they just had the most consistent setlists I've ever heard, every song they whacked out was an absolute belter

Wow, very unique and sounds like an awesome experience. Wish I could have been there!

It was amazing, there was a couple of great nights there and their whole thing was having all the decor being UV reactive, they'd hold it in a metal bar of all places but it meant that you had some streetstyle artists coming in and doing live paintings which of course were all UV reactive as well, and they'd have those kindsa people that are good at juggling and all
Sadly it stopped even before COVID happened, but I'm hoping once lockdowns end and clubs start opening back up that they'll feel nostalgic and start doing them again because there was nothing else like it in Dublin
