So today (August 7th) was my birthday and I turned the good ol' age of 26. And got to spend nearly 80 bucks on comic related stuff and on a first season of a show I enjoyed back when it was on.

The show as I mentioned known as Babylon 5, along with the sixth issue of IDW's Ghostbusters. Fantastic run they are doing.

The latest Heavy Metal Magazine and the first volume of IDW's Ninja Turtles run.

Spider-Men brings mainstream Peter Parker to the Ultimate verse to cross paths with new Spider-Man Miles Morales.

Takes place after the events of The Death of Spider-Man in the Ultimate verse and introduces Miles Morales. The fact it arrived in the mail today was just awesome too.

Happy belated birthday! Wow, that's some awesome stuff you got!

I honestly wouldn't be able to give you a good answer. As since I don't follow Marvel that well these days. I do know that recently he quit being Spidy for a year after the death of his mom during Venom War but is making a come back. Which I only know thanks to a source or two online.

Ah, okay, I was just wondering if this Miles' fellow had any personality whatsoever. I'm not a big fan of them taking Pete away from the mask in the actual ongoing story-arc. So, I thought if Miles was likable, it'd make things better. Happy Birthday, by the way.

Gotcha! And thanks! I like the idea of what is basically natural progression with the Ultimate verse and that it actually has an impact unlike in the main Marvel U where its event after event and death after death where none of it seems to have any profound impact. And death is just a mere plaything for their whims. At least with this, they aren't going 'Oh, well... We tried it. We're bored now, let's do something that ruins the impact of Ultimate Peter's death by bringing him back' And not really caring if it angers the fans.
