Looks like 2 houses stuck together, which is what we call a duplex. There is a house in the 1st pic's.

Indeed there are two houses there. But they're called semi detached houses here.

But they arent litterally semi-detached, they share a common wall down the middle.



Just like they have Apartments here but they arent apart, they are stuck together.

In New York, we call attached houses Town Houses.
