THE COMMUNITY PROJECT: WHAT ARE WE?
The Community Project came about as an idea when I noticed that people would express interest in wanting to participate in a group watch or read event and want to discuss as they go. I took that concept and decided to expand on it to make it into something where you could watch, read or listen to anything. You get a few people together who express interest in participating in the event, you request a section and off you go!

I know that I have RTSCore going as well; but, it's currently in hiatus while my friend moves into his new house and the activity shown in my CYOA thread here as well as party watching some shows and reading manga on others prompted me to explore this concept.

I really feel it can contribute to help people expand their horizons by granting that partnership so that they can motivate themselves to watch things they normally won't and have that community to discuss it with.

Things I hope to include as options as I expand the project:
  • Podcasts/audio dramas
  • TV shows
  • Movies
  • Books, comics and graphic novels
Not really sure how to classify this as I'm still working out the kinks.

I love the idea @Phenom. I really like that you've recommend how much to read for Terra Formars so that everyone can keep up. Good luck with it :)

What made you choose JCink by the way?
 
Thanks! I'm open to other projects and so far, the ones I've hosted or been involved with have granted boosts to activity of the respective community.

Well, I didn't want to have the expenses to do a second paid software right now and I haven't abandoned RTScore. I wanted something where I wouldn't have to worry about the costs other than an eventual domain and upgrading it to premium. I've been considering switching to a paid software.

Just wanted to share some updates we've had recently!

Some of the new things added:
- Dark theme 'Gradiented'
- Light theme 'Ignitor'
- Adjustments to the entertainment section, splitting it into sub-forums
- Switching to the grid layout on the Ignitor or Default Blue theme will show off the new forum grid images
 
Glad to hear you like the new theme! I thought it was a good choice for my community and I'm trying to tweak it as I'm able.

I love the look of your board. Do you have a light theme, if so, where is it located as I tried to look for it and couldn't find it.
