I couldn't go to work if I didn't have a car. My city's public transportation system isn't starting their routes until AFTER I have to be at work. Also its too far to ride a bike to.

I couldn't buy groceries and household items if I didn't have a car. How am I supposed to carry several bags of food all the way home. The nearest store is not within a reasonable walking distance from my house.
