The last word

Do you or someone you know have to get in the last word in a conversation or a text message exchange?

Yes. Almost everyone I know is like that.



Sometimes just for fun I will keep saying something just to see if they will say something after me. If it goes on too long, I'll even blurt out random words that have nothing to do with what we were talking about.

I have a co-worker that always has to have the last word. I'm so used to it now that I just say what I have to say and quickly walk away. I can still hear her blabbing away while I'm walking. I never turn around and just keep walking as fast as I can.

I know a couple of people who are like that, I don't mind it though sometimes it really annoys me since when they text me late at night and I tell them politely I was sleeping and if it's not urgent to text me tomorrow after 10 AM and they text back: Okay have a great sleep! or kk it just ticks me off because then it makes me read the last message to see if it's urgent or not THEN I can sleep..



Plus when we're in groups of people they always talk lots because they want to make sure they get the last word so they talk when they can (the person I'm talking about does anyway)



Either than that it doesn't bother me because I do talk a lot and socialize but I also listen a lot too.

Hahaha I used to do that all the time! If I didn't think they were paying attention I would just blurt out anything random to see if they were paying attention or if they'd catch it.

Hahaha that's funny! It reminds me of my sister, my sister never shuts up, like ever! So when she calls and talks if she babbles on about something I put the volume on high so I can somewhat hear her so if she says Okay? or do you get it? I know to reply.. Other than that I just block her out because with her you never know if what she is saying is true or if she's exagerating.



I also have a friend like that and I do the same when she calls. It's mean but they know I'm busy and I have ADD so if they can't keep me entertained or focus they totally lose me haha.



When I'm around them and they start babbling on I usually just tell my sister Shut up you're annoying me and she'll stop for a bit then start again.



My friend I just half listen and try to end convos that are useless.. Might be mean but I've told her before that sometimes I just don't have time to talk about everything and anything and it's not my fault I get distracted by random things!

Hahaha I'm like that too! I just pay attention to the important things and when they babble on I tend to daise off and day dream or something haha.
