I think it looks awesome, I can't wait to play it. Just the idea of an open world Zelda game makes me want it, and seeing it actually being played makes me want it even more. Not only does the world look absolutely huge, but it also looks very beautiful (despite what I've heard some people say).
And, of course, Epona doesn't run into trees because real horses don't run into trees.
