To me Twitter is a waste of time and effort.

To me Twitter is a waste of time and effort.

Twitter allows for users to share their opinions and merely discuss their happenings in day to day life, how is that any different from forums? I'm not saying that I enjoy Twitter, I've never actually made an account, but I don't see how you can call it a waste of time and effort and yet see forums as a great use of time and effort.
