The Office (US), is based on the UK series. It's about a dry humored boss that's a genuine asshole, trying to manage workers that practically hate him. The humor is very dry, but i love it. I'm at the end of season two right now. Is anyone else watching it?

The boss isnt an asshole, he is just a lonely idiot.

I watch the show all the time. I like Dwight Schrute, he is awesome.

Yeah, he's lonely, but he's an asshole. There are people that are just genuinely assholes. He always screws everything up and then leaves other people to take care of it. He thinks he's all that, when he really is not. But sometimes the show expresses that he has some good in him, towards the end of the episodes. Dwight is hilarious, he's also my favorite character. Talk about taking the job too seriously.

Obviously he is portrayed as someone who is insecure and unsure of himself. Not someone who thinks they are all that.
