A man asks a woman to marry him and gives her an engagement ring. Two weeks later the man decides he doesn't want to get married and asks for the ring back. Do you think the woman is obligated to give back the ring? Why or Why not?

He has no right to ask for it back. If he really wanted to get the ring back he would had made himself so unbearable that she would have to break up with him. Probably handing back the ring while doing so.

Even though I was not obligated to give the ring back, I wouldn't want it. I would wait for his birthday or a holiday and wrap the ring in a nice package along with some dog poop.

I'd swallow the ring and tell him to wait for it... not really I'd probably give it back to him and never ever speak to him again.
