FXX might as well be called "The Simpsons Network" because that's all they play 24 hours a day for most of the week.

Do you think you would watch a channel completely dedicated to Simpsons re-runs?

I've been watching the simpsons all day. :P

I want that pic up there! :D

Here's some: http://www.avatarist.com/avatars/Cartoons/The-Simpsons/

I think it would get old, and after season 9, I wouldn't watch.  I'm not a huge fan of the "newer" episodes, which take place in the 2000s.

Yeah the newer ones are watchable but they don't feel the same.

Soul mates?

I feel like a small number of people agree with me on this issue and I don't know why.  The older episodes had subtle wit and a dry humor that was cheeky and smart.  Now it feels forced, like the audience is too dumb to understand the once brilliant humor The Simpsons used to be written with.  It's gone the way of many other shows, I feel, that've stayed on television for too long and lost a lot of its charm.

So... down with The Simpsons? :(

Not necessarily. I love The Simpsons. It'll always have a special place in my heart. I mean, I grew up with it in its prime, but it's just not the same.

If there was an online petition to get it cancelled, would you sign?

No, definitely not. I just don't bother watching it, but I also know that it makes a lot of people laugh still and it's not entirely terrible. It's just not as good as it used to be, by any means.

Too bad Mrs. Krabappel died. RIP
