I thought the first one was brilliant film-making. I hope this is not simply a continuation of all the old characters. Some would be okay, but not most or all. One of the great things about the first one was the freshness of characters and images.

If it focuses on people who inhabit Sin City then it's a sequel. So it could be logical continuations of some characters, plus new people and their stories.
