The turritopsis nutricula species of jellyfish may be the only animal in the world to have truly discovered the fountain of youth.

Since it is capable of cycling from a mature adult stage to an immature polyp stage and back again, there may be no natural limit to its life span. Scientists say the hydrozoan jellyfish is the only known animal that can repeatedly turn back the hands of time and revert to its polyp state (its first stage of life).

Shame humans can't do this too!

Let's hope they figure out how to do it... Without becoming a baby of course

For Christ'sake... WHY????? Why would anyone want to live forever on this horrid messy shambles of a planet we've created here? Seriously, I'm interested in people's reasons on this topic.

Oh no, you misunderstood, I have no wish of living forever 500 years'll probably be enough.

As for my reasons, well, I kinda like the prospect of 400 years of reading/gaming/foruming/seeing tech advance, perhaps even changing the world a bit. The problem with humans is that they don't have enough time, by the time they know what they need to know they're basically dead and it's too late, adding a few years could fix that.

I bet you're bored with it all by the time you're 120, Evil. Be careful what you wish for.

Perhaps, might try to conquer the world at that point

As for being careful, well, there's always suicide.

Living for a long time would be interesting though. You would be able to see and experience many things, from future wars, space exploration, change of countries, etc etc. I think it would be pretty cool and fun to be able to have this on humans.
