What's the worst concert you've been to and what made it so bad?

I went to a concert that was being hosted by these new bands that were being run by teens wanting to pursue their dreams into hard rock and roll. A lot of them seemed to be doing a poor job copying off of bands like Slip Knot, Disturbed, and Finch...etc. Just the huge bands that made a name for themselves in the early 90's and mid 2000's.

It just seemed a lot of them could not play worth a damn at all. I've seen people at church, play ten times better and thats saying a lot coming from a guy who doesn't listen to a lot of gospel.

I don't know if it was the worst concert but it was probably one of the most disappointing.

Supertramp had a tour a couple of years ago and as I was really into them when I was young it was like a lifetime wish to go see them.

But the sound system was not great, and it lacked any energy at all. They went through the motions and it was clearly just a money making tour and nothing more.

I think if that had a smaller more intimate venue it would have been amazing but it just did not deliver in an arena.

I have yet to go to a bad concert. I've seem so awful support acts though. So awful I never bothered to find out their names.

Nightwish/Pain. Pain were .....Painful, Nightwish were horrific, It was when Annette was they;re singer . I couldn't stand her voice.

I don't know about other concerts. But support bands and festivals.
- Bloodbath, I was gutted, they weren't very good, but then I did have a massive hangover.
- The Haunted - bored me to death
- Tool - bored me to death
- Bon Jovi , couldn't see a damn thing and the screens seperated into 6 mini screens, how the **** are you supposed to see a mini screen from the middle to back of Hyde Park?!
- At The Gates - band were on fire, they were so good, BUT , They used strobes and fast flashing images on the screens which mean't I had to look at the floor both times I saw them. Carcass were the same but I did manage to watch a bit of them.
